I took my first crack at HDR photography today. HDR stands for High Dynamic Range, and it describes a method of taking photographs that is impossible with regular cameras. Usually photographers will take somewhere between 5 and 9 individual pictures of a scene, and then combine them with image manipulation software so that the medium brightness areas of each pictures is combined into a single image. I'm very much an amateur with this technique, but very little experience is necessary to create some very fabulous images. So check out my first try at HDR photography.
